Tabletop mode is better now though due to the larger screen, so that's how I've been playing if I'm not at home and undocked.
100%. I feel like this wasn't so much of a problem with Switch 1, but playing the Switch 2 in handheld for more than 5 minutes made my hands feel numb. Ended up having to get the Savage Raven grip which has helped immensely, and their D-Pad cover works surprisingly well too!
