Another note on Iowa WBB: it looks like the WBCA Showcase they're participating in will be airing on ESPN+ this season. Last year, it aired on Peacock & NBC Sports NOW, nee NBC Sports FAST Channel which was a funny thing since it's at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Michigan & Iowa, which remains a big draw post-Caitlin Clark, still have a decent chunk of games on B1G+, but they're mostly non-conference buy games and a few match-ups against recent bottom feeder Big Ten teams so nothing too bad. I feel the media partners did a decent enough job with those two.

Michigan WBB didn't make an appearance on broadcast TV last season until the NCAA Tournament in what ended up being their last game. Their first appearance this season? Nov. 15, a rematch of that tournament game vs. Notre Dame, on NBC.

Michigan, which as of now has the most broadcast tv games in the NCAA with 5 (possibility of a sixth) & UCLA are prominently featured, including a game between the two on Super Bowl Sunday at 3pm ET on FOX. Iowa, Maryland also have additional appearances on broadcast.

Outside of previously announced games, 6 additional Big Ten women's basketball games on broadcast TV- one on NBC and five on FOX for a total of 11 featuring B1G schools. bigten.org/wbb/article/...

Another thing of note: a shift to less games airing on Monday & Tuesday on Peacock. There's still some there, but with NBC/Peacock taking on the NBA, Big East & Big 12 hoops, there's a greater emphasis of Big Ten games later in the week on the service.

With all member schools participating in the Big Ten MBB tournament now, Peacock will have the two opening round games and the afternoon session of Round 2 with BTN jumping in for the night session.

In total, the FOX broadcast network will air SEVEN World Baseball Classic games in 2026. It will have all of Team USA's pool play games + two quarterfinal games + one game, likely a semifinal, to be determined + the championship game. The rest will air on FS1 & FS2.
