Had to hop on the #frieren art challenge! But wanted to also take the opportunity to answer the original question - “how to draw at different angles?”

This is my breakdown on how I draw at different angles and how I simplify the process for myself to get the outcome I want.

From that amazing work I did a very rough pass at an expression sheet for the character. The purpose it served was to highlight to the animation teams exactly how this crooked and hollow character could emote and exist from frame to frame.

Whatever production time and cost was "saved" by using AI for one of the most human-dependent disciplines in game making was actively obliterated by the act itself, overshadowing the hard work of every single other developer on the project and making this situation impossible to right. WHO KNEW.

For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Going back to some #jentryvstheunderworld art! Today I am dedicating some time to our injured heroes from Ep10. These were designed over the characters existing turns - Jentry’s Cheerleadibg Uniform and her broken arm, held up with Michael’s jersey. And Michael without his jersey and twisted ankle.

Not sure why Coca Cola needs a Head of Generative AI but fuck them and this ping slop.

OpenAI pirated large numbers of books and used them to train models.

OpenAI then deleted the dataset with the pirated books, and employees sent each other messages about doing so.

A lawsuit could now force the company to pay $150,000 per book, adding up to billions in damages.

I went into LBX expecting a lot of doom and gloom, and was instead greeted with a ton of enthusiasm and hope for the future. I met so many incredible people and heard so many kind things. I feel invigorated and excited for the future! There's so many creative people and opportunities out there! Wow!
