Anyway, I forgot to change before bed last night, and now I'm in a mood.

One of my bedwetting mats is a dutiful soul, and the other exists only to betray me, waiting for me to sleep so it can squirm down just far enough to guarantee any leaks get both it and the sheets soggy and ensure maximum laundry.

And, fool that I am, every time I trust that it's changed its ways.

Also, I think, the clearest example I've seen of an ABDL company going, "Wait, what if we just let a fabulous artist run wild doing our designs?" which...it still amazes me wasn't just the niche-industry norm from the start, given how stacked the options are there.

Gosh, the Super Pixel Pals launch video was so freaking cute.

Reader, it was fucking dandelion.

Might become an annoying wine tasting notes guy, not because I like wine but because identifying flavors is an embarrassingly bad gap in my broader annoying-booze-nerd game, and the wine nerds seem to have the most developed game on that front.

I wish I could say it's the only time that's happened, but, uh...

I'm not sure whether this was worse than the first time, because of the sheer distance I covered before noticing, or better, because at least this time I wasn't alerted by a Megamax full-on flopping out onto the city sidewalk.

Left the house so in my own head today that I managed to make it out my door, down the elevator, over several city blocks, and in somewhere for lunch before I noticed my backpack was open, with my spare diapers and changing supplies flopping around within.

Why am I allowed outdoors unsupervised.

Though mages are at times surprised to learn that other magic types don't see binding them as different in kind from taking any other familiar.

Or that there's little that tames the impetuous curiosity that makes them appealing like needing those diapers they can't take off anymore changed daily.

Overprecaution is the watchword here. You may not be able to keep your ethereally beautiful fae from charming everyone they meet, but you can enchant those braces you had them fitted for to make them start lisping and drooling whenever they try to bend the truth with a mortal without permission.

Fantasy setting where sentient familiars are common enough that they come with their own "safe/ethical pet-owning" guidelines.

E.g., binding a succubus or incubus might get you looked at sideways in general, but if you're not keeping them secure in unremovable chastity, that's just *irresponsible.*

Verdict: Fiiiine, but not worth recreating. I think the flavor profile was probably already too mild for clarifying to add much. It stripped the dandelion notes out, too. 4/10!

...that said, it was weirdly drinkable served in a bottle, which did confirm the initial idea behind this dumb experiment!

(I am sure that throwing this wildly bullshit spec together rather than practicing with, like, someone else's *good* recipe first will not cause me any problems. I definitely considered that before spending days on this one.

It did not only cross my mind for the first time after. Certainly not.)

I will not get to actually test it until tonight, but I have christened this test batch:

Dumb Baby Juice #1 -
Dandelion root-infused Irish whiskey, apple brandy, honey syrup, lemon, milk, half-and-half.

A liquor bottle filled slightly over halfway with a translucent, whiskey brown punch sits on the silver-gray top of a refrigerator in front of a white cabinet. I am not into findom at all, which is awkward, 'cause incidents like this do leave me squarely convinced that I should not be allowed to have money.

I'm not even *that* in love with the design, but this is the first time in God knows how long that I've seen Little-hyped sneakers and didn't immediately have to go "Aww, shucks" 'cause the size range cut off 3+ short of mine.

Considering spending a truly shameful amount of money to get a pair of the new Bluey Chucks off a reseller...

A downside is the look of disappointment your giraffe gives you when you still make him go back the next day.

This does not otherwise make the day less shitty, but it is inherently satisfying nonetheless.

Started taking one of my stuffed friends into the office earlier this year, for very normal adult reasons, and one advantage I've found is that at the end of esp. shitty days I get to huff, "Screw this, I'm takin' my giraffe and going home."

Caveat that this is phrased like it's well thought-out advice but is, in fact, mostly an unscientific self call-out.

The more I think about untraining at night, the more convinced I become that the steps a committed Little can take there are...prob'ly 95% healthy sleep habits you should do anyway.

Hypno and dandelion tea aren't gonna soak your sheets if you're never getting a full night's restful sleep to start!

This is purely self-indulgent and mostly an excuse to play with a particular world-building idea, but it was fun to write, so oh well.

Honestly, I think people just use the term to describe a range of distinct experiences?

Like, for me the term means at most "feeling natural and 'in the zone' doing Middle stuff," as opposed to "self-consciously roleplaying," but some folks def. use it to mean more of a "regression" type of shift.
