Apple talks a big game but consistently fails to protect their users against broadly deployed exploits used at a large scale.

Pixels have provided hardware memory tagging (MTE) support since the Pixel 8. GrapheneOS deployed it in production around a month after the launch of the Pixel 8 and we use it for the kernel and nearly the entire base OS. We use it for some third party apps and users can opt-in to using it for all.

It's not about keeping insurance companies in business. The big insurance companies are the problem. Fixing HC is about how do we apportion risk and cost between patients , providers and taxpayers.

Other countries do a great job of protecting against catastrophic and expensive medical issues. They control the cost and risk by restricting access.

what healthcare services and medications are you willing to give up ?

Should it be like Medicare ? Where deductibles are going though the roof ? Medicare Aadvantage where deductibles are also increasing , but the networks are shrinking ?Medicaid which pays less than doctors say they can live on ?

Do you think this site can survive with no revenue and a single demo ? For how long ? Or do you not care if it survives ? Just curious your perspective.

Not true. We have a growing number of brand meds. The only reason we don’t have all brand meds is because the big PBMs threaten to reduce sales of the brand’s meds if they work with us.

They know we will do to brand pricing what we did to generics.

That’s the issue. This is Medicare and it sends you to the big insurance companies to fill in the gaps for coverage.

The point being that getting from where we are to where we want to be , where everyone has the right to care they can afford, is not going to a s straight line. It will be hard.

I see you work in labor.Most have amazing plans and do a great job of running them.

Why aren’t you fighting to change or replace Taft Hartley so everyone can get access to the same care you get?

Will your union oppose UHC bc of lost benefits for members?

Require transparency down to the contract level from all providers. Maybe to the point of general ledger entries. Segregate formularies from PBMs. End steering. This allows everyone to dig in and see what care would actually cost and determine a path, that everyone can discuss
