Her Roots and Shoots program for children is a beautiful legacy. The images of her with chimpanzees and gorillas were very inspiring for me to become involved in environmental law, citizen science projects and international voluntary service.

These marigolds helped guard my tomatoes all summer. Now they pair up nice with some purple verbena for a indoor display. This is the seventh year for these flowers from saving their seeds.
