Go read or listen to “Back After This” written and narrated by Linda Holmes. I’m already a fan from years of listening to Linda on NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour. Of my many takeaways is that you are not your employment and too much editing will be clocked as unnatural and disturbing.

This Osaka / Anisimova match feels so similar to the 2005 Wimbledon final between Lindsay Davenport and Venus Williams. The weight of shot on both sides is impressive.

Confident Osaka, Vondrousova, and Krejcikova playing again at their championship levels is a fun thing to see.
