📚SUMMER READING CHALLENGE📚
Earlier this month I had the pleasure of presenting medals at Nuneaton Library to children who had completed the summer reading challenge ⭐️
Stories open up new worlds for our children and I’m delighted so many kids took part this year!
🧀 SAPUTO DAIRY VISIT 🧀
With over 400 employees and 13 production lines, Nuneaton is key to Saputo Dairy’s success with more than 1,000 tonnes of cheese being processed here each week, including our favourites like Cathedral City Cheddar and Wensleydale!

I fought hard in Parliament to make sure Nuneaton was included in this programme, and I’m proud to deliver it.
Since being elected, I’ve been fighting hard in Parliament for Nuneaton.
Now, that work is paying off. We’ve secured £20 million of long-term funding for Camp Hill through Labour’s Pride in Place programme - £2 million every year for the next decade.
This is real change.
This afternoon I dropped into the CHESS Centre for Warwickshire Police's VAWG Community Safety event.
Our Safer Neighbourhood teams regularly hold Women and girls' walks and drop in events across the community, for women to share their concerns, receive advice and personal safety freebies.

communication with residents by empowering local teams.

This year’s theme is “Changing the Narrative on Suicide” - encouraging us to have more open conversations about mental health and reducing the stigma around these important topics.

I had a fantastic time meeting with Independent Freight Solutions, a local, family-run business right here in Nuneaton!
Earlier this year they won the “Workforce Developer” Award at the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce awards!

Nuneaton based group Art Alert are putting on an art exhibition showcasing 2D and 3D works - all inspired by 200 years of train travel. They will be showing at The Station Gallery Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between the 3rd and 12th of October.

Their plans for expansion bring to Nuneaton part of the £1.7 million local investment in primary care from our Labour Government!

I joined students opening their results at Etone College today to congratulate them on their hard work!
Etone College won Community School of the year in 2025 and it’s not hard to see why!

💧RIVER TESTING💧
This week I got stuck in with Attleborough Wildlife Watchers, who have just started monthly water quality testing in Wem Brook.
Attleborough Wildlife Watchers are looking for volunteers to join them for litter picking and water testing - you can find their group on Facebook 🐾
📣 In July we tackled a wide range issues — with the NHS, ASB and Housing among the most pressing local topics raised.
✅ I’m delighted to share that we successfully resolved 453 individual cases.
