Labour is putting commuters first by freezing rail fares for the first time in 30 years!

It’s been fantastic to see so many young people taking part in this year’s Remembrance events.

Last week I had the pleasure of joining students at Etone College for their Trust Remembrance Parade.

I want to commend all of the young cadets and students who honoured our fallen soldiers.

It was an honour to lay a wreath at the War Memorial in Bedworth to mark Armistice Day.

Last week in Parliament it was my honour to place a tribute in the Speaker’s Constituency Garden of Remembrance in memory of all of those who served from Nuneaton and the villages.

Today, I attended Nuneaton’s Remembrance Sunday service, laying a wreath in tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. I'm grateful to representatives who laid wreaths for me in Arley, Ansley, and Hartshill. I also attended a remembrance service at George Eliot Hospital. We will remember them

Education secretary accuses Reform of 'Victorian era' pupil plan Bridget Phillipson responds to a Reform council's plea over the distances pupils walk to school.

I’m deeply concerned by the proposal from Warwickshire County Council that would see children as young as eight to walk up to five miles to school.

This idea is unsafe, unreasonable, and completely out of touch with the realities faced by local families.

I fought hard in Parliament to make sure Nuneaton was included in this programme, and I’m proud to deliver it.

Since being elected, I’ve been fighting hard in Parliament for Nuneaton.

Now, that work is paying off. We’ve secured £20 million of long-term funding for Camp Hill through Labour’s Pride in Place programme - £2 million every year for the next decade.

This is real change.

This afternoon I dropped into the CHESS Centre for Warwickshire Police's VAWG Community Safety event.

Our Safer Neighbourhood teams regularly hold Women and girls' walks and drop in events across the community, for women to share their concerns, receive advice and personal safety freebies.
