A few snaps from todays Pennine wander up to Cardunneth pike
Bait stop on Cardunneth pike possibly one of the best viewpoints in Cumberland with extensive views down to Wildboar fell Mallerstang over to the Lakeland fells the Solway plain to the Galloway hills and around to Hadrians wall country. The cairn sits on a Bronze Age burial site

Alfie is good just turned 10 so unfortunately he’s not joining in on long fell top fun days anymore he can manage easy hikes no bother but 10 milers too much he’s an OAP

A few from last weeks midweek bimble up Skiddaw hoping for more days like this with the added bonus of a covering of snow . I do love the northern Lake District fells I’ve walked and mountain biked these fells for many years and never tire of them
