I really like the premise of "Murder in a Small Town" I like the atmosphere. 🌲⛵ I think the casting for the sheriff is good. Marcia Gay Harden deserves more screen time, but the sheriff's love interest has got to go. Her scenes bring the show down to Lifetime (🫢) quality. Cringy.

At first I didn't like Task. All the characters were either whining and complaining or were drunks or criminals, but it's grown on me. The writing and acting are quite good. Tom Pelphrey is a stand out. Martha Plimpton adds salt and spice.
