Dodder Action is an action group set up to improve the Dodder River and its tributaries for the well-being and enjoyment of local communities
We’re going to tackle the Bottle Swamp again next Sunday 20 July. Meet at the bridge on Whitestown Drive at 10.00. We need people to go in the water and people to work the bank. Lots of nettles and briars so wear appropriate clothing and bring strong gloves.

As part of Biodiversity Week Dodder Action volunteers will be cleaning the recently upgraded Killinarden Park.
We will meet at 10.00 on Wednesday 21st May at the park entrance beside Croi Ro Naoife GAA Club. We will provide pickers and bags, but please bring your own gloves.

A big thank you to the 17 amazing people from Dodder Action and Cherryfield Dog Walkers who came out this morning to clean the Cherryfield section of Dodder Valley Park. We were blessed with glorious weather after a very cold start, and were amazed at just how much rubbish we picked up.

On Friday we planted 2,500 native Irish trees & shrubs in the latest Stepping Stone Forest in Deansrath Community College, Dublin 22.

Another 600 tree Stepping Stone Forest was planted today in Kishoge Community College in Lucan, Co. Dublin. This forest was sponsored by #AWSInCommunities and the TY students were helped by volunteers from Bank of Ireland and Turner & Townsend to plant the trees.

A good news story💚 We were in Kiltipper today. Imagine our delight today when we came across two men busy planting trees along the hedgerow. They are planting a woodland mix including blackthorn, whitethorn, mountain ash and birch. Well done South Dublin County Council, what a great initiative.
