I've checked out both Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir already and unfortunately, they didn't really grab me but a lot of times bands grow on me so I'll keep checking them out again every so often! Thank you so much for giving me recs, though. I appreciate you taking the time to send me them 🙏🏻

Behemoth and the song was O Father, O Satan, O Sun. After I heard that then I binged a whole bunch of youtube videos of their live performances over the years and completely fell in love with the band.

I've always been fascinated with black metal as a genre, particularly the history of it, but I could never actually get into the music. However, this week, it just kind of clicked for me (though I don't really know why), so I'm super excited to listen to more over the weekend!

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, but I'm glad you managed to get a good psychiatrist in the end. Apart from the fact I had to wait a year for the assessment, the psychiatrist I saw was very nice and helpful. Everything throughout my life kind of makes sense now that I know I have it 😅

I'm not even English and I'd do the same tbh

Had an ADHD assessment today and was diagnosed with it, so it's nice to have that validation and know why I am the way I am. Now I gotta wait 6-8 months to find out whether I'll be given medication or not to manage it, which is a bit frustrating, but it is what it is.
