My plan for today was going to go over to my parents' house today and watch the season finale of strange new world. Dad loves Spock. He and I were having the best time geeking out about it.

My only wish is that we do get to share that.

My father once dressed up in a loincloth and danced around for a work event to the song "guitarzan," a song about tarzan, King of the Jungle, loved rock music.

My dad also got us into Zelda. We played A Link to the Past. I deleted his save file at Ganon. I blamed my brother and didn't tell him the truth until I was in high school.

I can't think of anything else to do. My dad was the one who got me into nerdy things. We watched a lot of Star Trek. Next Gen was a show we watched every week. Because of that, I love the stars.

I wrote rhat an hour ago without posting. Shit ain't looking good.

My dad is in the ICU. It is....i don't know even. My hope and grief are mingling, and I am trying to hold onto the little things I can control, which is very little.

All I want is 100% cotton sleeping pants, and everywhere is just polyester. I hate this timeline.

Mom made it through surgery and is doing well. They are hopeful they were able to get the cancer. I am hopeful too. And tired.

They just took Mom back into surgery. I'll take any vibes, prayers, etc, that you want to send cauae I am a basket case

I have a book, and my sister is going, but it is still scary. Especially since the surgery is scheduled for later in the day and I get all day to worry.

Basically, this sucks. It is no one's fault, and everyone is doing all they can. But it sucks.

I am going to be with her, and so is my sister, but my father is not able to. He does not have the strength.

I need a distraction for tomorrow and I don't know what to do. I am going to be sitting in the hospital and waiting.

A month ago, we found out my mother had breast cancer. This is on top of my father having stage four lung cancer that is getting progressively worse.

Tomorrow, my mother is going in for surgery. They have compared it to like when she got her appendix removed, but I am still deeply worried
