Wild west’s unfortunately an accurate description for this part of the cosmetics industry. Cosmetic surgery falls within scope of UK regulations under ‘surgical procedures’, but an injection isn’t surgery.

I should add that whilst I personally don’t think Nintendo’s any worse than most of the other major games companies when it comes to their business practices, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been personally affected by them, if that’s the case.

I’m aware of a good number of these (wouldn’t call them studios) & remember them being discussed in the press as being at risk of takedown pretty much from day one. Don’t agree with Nintendo’s policy, but it’s hard to believe they didn’t know there was a good chance Nintendo would come after them.

I’m also confused about why you present as having such ethical objections when it comes to games company business models, but have no problem suggesting people use Google. Do you have a method for picking and choosing when these things matter to you, or is it just at random?

Don’t be silly- you’re the one claiming they’ve shut down studios without offering any evidence that’s the case. I’m willing to have you demonstrate otherwise, but have no problem in believing you don’t know what you’re taking about given you’re unwillingness/inability to back those claims up

No idea what changes you’re talking about and I’m not sure Nintendo have actually been responsible for shutting any studios down, but at least it’s clear that what matters most to you are business models rather than your enjoyment of the games you’ve played.
