This one was fun as fuck to design. Abiertrode is based off of an open Pokeball, a cluster bomb, and of course the Substitute doll. The name is taken from "abierto", Spanish for "open", and Electrode. So literally, "Open Electrode", lol.

Dex Entry: The Voltorb orbiting an Abiertrode receive a power boost from the powerful magnetic field surrounding it. When Abiertrode goes to sleep, it pulls the Voltorbs into the shell that used to be itself as an Electrode and closes it. #fakemon #Pokemon

Most usually send a butler or something..." The butterfly finally spoke. "It's less scary for kids if they send another kid to fetch newcomers." "Huh?" "We'll explain once we're there." The spider said, still with that oddly serene cheerfulness. "It's best we not wait around here for too long. Someone else might get mad if they show up and wanna come. This is an invite only event!" "But... why was I invited?" "Once again, we'll explain when we get there. We're already late!" ----- Less than a half-hour later, a search party would arrive, only to find they were too late. But why was he smiling...?
