Is that anything like tearing down the East Wing or renaming the Kennedy Center?

Today is the 5th anniversary of a day that will live in infamy. The whole world watched as it happened in real time. I WILL NEVER FORGET JANUARY 6TH 2021 AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THE TREASONOUS POS IN THE WHITEHOUSE OR THE SEDITOUS REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS. IT WASN'T A RIOT, IT WAS AN INSURRECTION.

"Iron laws of the world"? Some of America's most important national accomplishments are about leading humanity away from this kind of bullshit.

If we let ideologues like Stephen Miller drag us back into a world where brute force is all that matters, all of us will be less safe.

Crockett: "Everyone wants to talk about how Maduro was illegitimate. As we sit here on January 6, I do want to be clear: somebody else was trying to be a Maduro of the United States. Somebody else wanted to do the exact same thing. The difference is Maduro was successful."

Reformed January 6th participant (who refused a pardon): “You can't gaslight me. I was there. I saw the officers being pepper sprayed. I watched one of them fall down and hit his head and his back. So don't be telling me it wasn't violent.”

The United States is behaving like a rogue state. The President has carried out an illegal act of war, kidnapped a foreign head of state, and is now threatening military action against NATO allies. This is a constitutional crisis.

Impeachment must be on the table.

'Batsh*t crazy': Democratic representatives sound off on the White House publishing a website about January 6 that calls the insurrectionists “patriots” and blames officers for the violence. @pabloreports.bsky.social reports.

With the retirement of Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the passing of LaMalfa, it looks like the GOP no longer holds a working majority until his seat is filled. It’s at 217. They need 218 for a majority.

Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

5 years ago, there was a bloody, lawless, and deadly attack on our nation’s Capitol. A group of criminal thugs broke out in riots and stormed our Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of a free and fair election at the direction of the President of the United States.

My thoughts today are with the security people and police officers who defended the Capitol on January 6 and have been treated with such distain since by the GOP. For them and the Democratic leadership who lived through such chaos and no doubt continue to carry the scars within. We will not forget.

America! We have a lawless president and the worse part of that is the Republican Party is even worse. Over the last forty years they have fermented distrust in government and encouraged the Deplorables to support them. We are in a terrible state!

No amount of gaslighting will convince sane and rational Americans that we didn’t see what we saw on January 6, 2021.

Let’s cut through some of the bullshit and lies…

George Conway, critical of Trump, enters crowded Democratic House primary In an interview, the newly registered Democrat emphasized his opposition to the president, as he seeks to stand out in a packed open race in New York.

Conway, a conservative lawyer and commentator who helped found the anti-Trump Lincoln Project, highlights Trump’s disdain for the rule of law.

“He believes in no principle, no rule, no law, no other human being, no restraint, no morality,” Conway said”
