Any recommendations for mics? I am hoping for a starter-mid range mic (under $200 CAD). Something that is still good to practice recording but is also good for gaming etc.
Google can be very overwhelming for my neurospicy brain.
Tldr: what are the best quality mics for starting VO

As another nerodiverse person I completely understand how overwhelming it can feel. I'm feeling it too.
But we can do this, one little step at a time, with some hobby time because those are important too.

Does anyone have any tips for vocal cord warm ups or ways to help your voice after talking all day? I now know of the straw one from yesterday's webinar.
(I'm a preschool teacher and just entering in to the VO world)

I find my voice gets tired from talking all day and would love any tips.
