7) The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (2026)

WB always kills it when it comes to animation. This was a visual treat! Every generation should have Looney Tunes.

I hadn't seen the trailers, but it was a nice surprise to have a focus on Daffy Duck and Porky Pig!

6) DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story (2004)

Could've done without the fat shaming, but this was a great comedy with performances from the comedy greats of the noughties!

I do miss when we had movie stars of comedies.

7) A Walk in the Dark (2017)

A great platformer is built on good controls.

This was a frustratingly difficult game, made worse by the poor and slippery controls. I started to skip levels towards the end, giving up on reaching the end.

I beat 85 of the 100 levels.

6) Before I Forget (2021)

This was a short experience that was worth sharing with the rest of my family as a group that have lived with people with dementia. The notes in the kitchen stood out to me the most.

7) Seinfeld S4 (1993)

It was surprising to see episodes connecting much more in this season, in the attempt to make it more serialised. I did come around to enjoying this new approach.

6) The War Between the Land and the Sea (2025)

This is what Doctor Who should be (for me), instead of the new tone with the return of RTD. If the show returns to something deeper like this, they'll get me back on board, but otherwise this was a good send off for me to say goodbye to the franchise.

15) DC Pride 2025 #1 (2025)

This was good, but not as great as previous annuals, which had standalone stories that weren't connected. I preferred that structure.

The final pages stood out with Jenny's brilliant Master Planner story and the personal stories from fans who wrote in!

5) Wayward Strand (2022)

This was a calm and cosy game. I enjoyed relaxing to this and hearing the stories of the elderly residents. There are plenty of things I didn't discover, but I don't want to replay this.

5) Fallout S2 (2026)

Another great season!

This time, I watched this after having played the games from Fallout 3 to Fallout 4 and I felt that this gave me a more satisfying experience, especially with the many nods to Fallout: New Vegas.

However, I think the first season was better.

4) Taskmaster's New Year Treat 2023 (2023)

Mo Farah had the perfect energy for the new year!

I liked how it was easy and interesting to watch, even as someone who hasn't played the game!

I only found this by regularly checking online and at local stores and charity shops over years. Don't give up on finding yourself a copy!

Reading Mark Millar and Aluir Amancio’s “Superman Adventures” from the nineties and this image stuck out to me.

It's P4A season again - the 1 video I can't skip each year.

But I also saw that I only made 1 other video last year.

All I can say is that I'm sorry. Hopefully, Control Resonant gets me some more juice to rejuvenate me.

It was a tough year.

14) The Alan Wake Files (2010)

Clay Steward

This was a fascinating read that added depth to the universe!

I loved finding out more in a style not too different from The Secret History of Twin Peaks. I loved getting a lot more from the perspectives of both Clay and Nightingale!

Glad I found it!

13) Self-Care for Autistic People: 100+ Ways to Recharge, De-Stress, and Unmask (2024)

Dr. Megan Anna Neff

This was a helpful book with lots of actionable tips and I find it easy to recommend to anyone else who needs it!

4) Candleman Definitive Edition (2018)

The atmosphere and sound design were absolutely brilliant!

I loved the calm nature of the game, until the final chapter before the DLC. The DLC was quite a bit tougher than the base game, but was still satisfying.

One of the best puzzlers I've played!

5) Is This Thing On? (2026)

Will Arnett and Laura Dern in a film based on John Bishop's introduction to standup. I'm sold!

This was a good "follow-up" to his 25th anniversary tour last year.

I would have liked the ending to have more time to breathe - I think I may have found this to be rushed.

11) Unknown 9: Genesis - Book One (2020)

I'm still not done with the Unknown 9 universe!

I listened to the audiobook and had a great time with this well-paced globetrotting adventure. Sadly, the next two books aren't available as audiobooks, but I've got to find out where this leads!

4) Spaceballs (1987)

This was a fun sci-fi spoof and a good communal watch! I loved how the film had fun with the fourth wall.

Plus, there's an owl that always faces Alan in the Writer's Room!

10) Wonder Woman Vol. 4: The Island of Mice and Men (2025)

Not so strong, but I still had a good time with most of it.

9) DC x Sonic the Hedgehog (TPB, 2025)

This was a really fun crossover!

3) Hamnet (2025)

Watched yesterday.

This felt like a play with the film resting on the performances of the actors. That extends to the way things were shot and the pacing. It's all very classically theatrical.

The ending did make me cry, but I felt a lack of connection throughout the movie.
