I just did this, but Gmail says that i have to have it turned on in order to use inbox categories like “social” and “promotional,” which are 99% spam. So as soon as I turned off Gemini, Gmail dumped 45,000 spam messages straight into my inbox. Pure evil. Any workaround for this?

Graduated in the Great Recession and planned to go to library/archives school, but got spooked that it’s an oversaturated field even in a good economy. Researched recession-proof fields and landed on health information management—kind of like archives for medical records. Still here 15 years later.
