But wait, making the most of the opportunity we brewed not one but two beers, the second will be exclusively poured at their taproom and the first, well, some say West Coast is the best coast, and cask is cool !!

This week we had the pleasure of being invited down by our pals and Manchester beer stalwarts Sureshot to brew a collaboration beer. Plenty of discussion on techniques, processes, ingredients and products meant it was a real school day for us, and we’re really looking forward to the release.

This week we travelled to Buxton to visit our pals Silent Brew Co and brew a collab Pale Ale. Cask exclusive, releasing w/c 4th August.

…..With next to no deliberation 😉 the opportunity was taken to also brew alongside a stronger ‘imperial’ variant that will also be making its debut at the festival too.

Yesterday we headed down to New Mills to the legends that are @torrsidebrewing to co-host a brew day with Stuart Evans who recently won the ‘Mild & Brown Ale’ category in the @skbeerfestival Homebrew Competition with his American Brown Ale recipe…….

Popped into the Whitworth Vale & Healey Band Club today and ordered a pint of our ‘Black Steel’ Porter.
A regular trade customer & our most northernly located it was great to spend a couple of hours here, chatting to locals and bar staff. Beers well received and clearly being well looked after.

🥳 Our first event of 2025! 🥳

We’re kicking off 2025 with the first Finding The Balance vinyl night of the year. Our resident DJs will be spinning an eclectic mix of records from old to new and from ska to blues. It’s always a fun do so dust off those dancing shoes! 🕺 💃

So thank you 2024, we’re looking forward to 2025, theres already a few interesting prospects taking shape, so the adventure continues.

➡️ We won our first award, taking ‘Beer of the Festival’ Bronze 🥉at this years @skbeerfestival

➡️ For the first time we shipped beers outside of our Greater Manchester / Stockport customer sphere with beers heading down to Derby and Nottingham (we very nearly made it to Estonia too).

A few notable highlights of the year…..

➡️ We brewed a total of 34 beers this year, which is our largest number and also across our broadest range of styles.

➡️ We brewed collaborations with Levenshulme Homebrew Club, Chorlton Homebrew Club, @doomedbrewing and @burtonroadbrewing
