Honestly I kind of love the movies for that - I think I'd fight Big Reacher before Lil Reacher, b/c Tom Cruise's intensity is like if you shrank down and pressurised a very large man.

I do all mine through organisations, and I'm tempted to start something that's a bit more regulated and routine so I always know which days of the week are teaching days, if that makes sense.

I really think even if the wider Marvel universe didn't exist, there's enough in X Men and mutants as a concept that it could support an entire comics universe by itself.

You're not far off - I based it on Carlingford! The bay, the history, and the distance were all incredibly helpful in the design process. Definitely far enough - you'll hear her coming at least...
Absolutely - biting your tongue or disparaging yourself so you can pass with a minimum of conflict. A friend of Native American descent told me once about her mam (I think) being advised to just tell people she was Italian instead, as it would be safer and easier. Horrible, but very common I think.
