Surviving day by day, building up bit by bit a sort of social structure to try to resist as much as possible. That means local Food Not Bombs groups as well as my local LGBTQ+ mutual aid. Got to have a hope that we can do something against such reckless hate.

The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years.
