The bill is still a mess but this is a win. Thank you, America. They heard you. House Republicans have dropped the provision that would’ve sold off 500,000 acres of public land in Utah and Nevada.

With republicans - it is always about inflicting the most pain in their policy.

The GOP Budget includes a massive land grab in NV to pay for tax breaks for the rich. I just filed an amendment to strip this provision because we need to work together on a plan for responsible growth and keep $ from land sales in our state to support education and conservation.
