The fans were fully behind the team when the players on the pitch gifted United an equaliser and they were cheering and singing Merino’s song when we gifted them a winner. It’s THEIR fault.

It truly is Arsenal vs Arsenal in this title race.

Think that’s about the best lineup we could’ve hoped for in the circumstances, with Calafiori and Havertz clearly not ready yet.

Oh City are in a proper dogfight to avoid the knockout play-off round now.

A decent goal swing, yeah, but if we did somehow lose to Kairat and Bayern win 2 games then that’s already a minimum GD swing of 3.

Wouldn’t put it past Bayern to go and smash one of their remaining opponents. Obviously we’re extremely likely to get top now though.

Probably the first half we would’ve wanted. Only a couple of Chelsea chances, an early goal for us, decent number of good attacking moves.

Still only 1-0 and this game is far from done, but taking a lead back to the Emirates would be ideal.

Hate to be talking about added time in another Anthony Taylor match but it’s genuinely nonsensical that they can add on 2 minutes, Mac Allister wastes the first faking injury, then it ends dead on 2 minutes.

No surprises here, the expected team. I know he was ineffective in the away game but we’ve still lucked out with Ekitike being unavailable, definitely their biggest threat.

Just need to get the three points ahead of the break for the cup games.

Yeah so I think that makes some sense and I’m not totally against that version, but unfortunately the PL’s system is not that because they’ll overturn a decision within the threshold (even if the initial decision was correct) to give a goal.

As a non-cricket follower, am I to understand that the umpire’s call is where they stick with the umpire’s call if they don’t have enough evidence to overturn it?

Because that’s not the case here, they overturned a correct on-field decision to give an incorrect one they believed to be incorrect 😅

City leaving Semenyo at Bournemouth for this weekend, Arsenal winning anyway and then City dropping points without him was pretty much the ideal scenario.

Always funny when a team tries to play games with their transfer moves and it backfires.

Taking significant restraint not to point out to Liverpool fans that they "only have three injuries" while they complain about missing Isak and Ekitike.

Looks like they all suddenly understand the concept of cluster injuries after deliberately failing to understand it for the last 12 months.

Was nice to watch a team actually try to play football against us, at least for parts of the game. A rarity.

Been a long time since I’ve watched an Arsenal game on TV given I’m almost always at them. Wild how incredibly obvious it was that the commentators wanted Bournemouth to get a result.
