I tore my right Achilles a month ago. I'm 3 weeks post op now and in a boot (for a week already). Getting outside is good for the mind. I started with a VERY short dog walk on crutches a week ago, and today walked 1/2 mile with the dog.

With Adam Ondra's #bouldering send of Soudain Seul, I am more sure than ever that rock climbing grades are basically worthless. The only reason to grade something is to have a consistent measure. Climbing grades are anything but. Will Bosi is the only one I can take seriously.

I just recently picked up a Timemore Sculptor 64s and will vouch for it. It's not cheap, but it works very very well. The only issue I have with it is static. A quick spray of water helps, but does not eliminate it .

If you just want a cup at a time, it's hard to beat an Aeropress...easily the best value for money coffee maker in the world. If you want to get into espresso, I would start with a Gaggia Classic...but the real issue, with any brewing method is the grinder. Spend as much as you can on a grinder.
