The Matt Gaetz ethics report is truly something else.

Here’s my confusion: If Trump’s promise is to eliminate government inefficiencies and slash positions to save money, and if his tariffs are supposedly bringing in so much revenue that they’ll pay off the debt, then why the sudden urgency about the debt ceiling?

Let’s unpack this.
