A nearly 90-year-old treaty is keeping Russia from reinforcing its Black Sea fleet. A ceasefire in Ukraine might change that. warontherocks.com/20...
That's fair. It seems that Artfruit, a major supplier, brings raspberries from Marocco via Belarus, unfortunately nowadays only few sites provide data about product origin country
These are imported
Logical accuracy here is irrelevant. People try to evaluate how you will approach real-life problems, where you rarely have all the data - making assumptions and taking initiative. How accurate and effective such candidate selection process... I guess that also says something about them :)
🤔 Looks more like a personality test rather than a logical problem. How many factors you manage to identify for route choice (e.g. competitors' likely choice) and ability to make choices without sufficient data. I guess they might be running out of beans

Dimon is smart, finding an external scapegoat for the self-created problems is key for success of JP Morgan under the Trump administration. He also bets, that the regime will remain for a long time. Let's see
Die Überschrift des Spiegel-Kommentars zeigt, wie weit rechtsextreme Narrative in die Gehirne vorgedrungen sind. Normal wäre: Politikerin veruntreut 3 Mio € und erhält gerechte Strafe. Punkt.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. Mediazona is struggling.
We’ve tracked 100K Russian casualties in Ukraine. Covered political prisoners repression. We survived Putin’s censors.
Our reporters risk prison. Our editors will now work without pay. We need your help: en.zona.media/article/2025...
Мы с Димой Трещаниным теперь волонтеры в Медиазоне. С апреля не получаем зарпату. Буквально сами себя сократили

We can't rely on grants or advertising. Who would want to invest money, much less advertise next to texts about torture? We can only rely on people who think our work is important. And right now, we really need help.

I tried so hard to post something here, but honestly, I have no energy for anything but work. We are going through hard times now, please support us with a small donation. And I’ll tell you what work these donations will go towards.

You can't let someone define your life in such a way, whoever that person was. Seriously
USSR was a very big mixing and equalizing machine, which put the majority of its population into largely similar life conditions. I don't think any other country ever had such uniformity, tbh
E.g. there are income & social class differences, not just nationality. And some experiences will be closer to each other than the others.
There was never any "Russian aggression" in Putin's Russia. For them, Russia defends itself against neo-nazies and the decadent blood-thirsty West. And of course there can't be unifying history. Even two people will have different stories to tell about the same events.
..closes gulag museums. FSB feels itself a heir to KGB and wants to keep its crimes hidden. Russia still hasn't dealt with its past. And it makes Putin easier to reinstate it
Take Holodomor. While Ukraine and Kasaqstan put spotlight on these events, which also helps their current governments pikitically, there's a complete reverse current now in Russia: Putin's regime puts Russians, who study and uncover KGB atrocities in Russia in jail, ..
Framing the history solely as one nationality vs the other is intellectually dishonest and manipulative. Some nationalities were prosecuted specifically, but look up Tambov peasant revolt, Novocherkassk massacre. It was just part of how this system worked
I have a problem with modern Western ex-USSR nationalistic academics. From one side they are right, if Soviets didn't take power in their countries, countless victims could have been avoided. From another, the Soviets ruled in Russia with the same means.
First of all, the idea of brotherhood doesn't come up somehow. But still, how was it during struggles of WWI & Weimar times, shared or not? Russian aggression is now a part of history just like holocaust
Who was Stalin by nationality? Beria? Have you looked how the hunger of 1932-33 looked like in the Russian regions?
The shared history of repressions, war, hunger, Soviet rule, post-USSR oligarchy?
No, that's different from how I feel it. It stems more from common ancestry and shared history
In this case, to get offended, you must consider yourself to be the younger or otherwise less important brother. Interesting observation
I wonder what rights ICE agents have in a 3rd country to put her on a connection flight. If they fly commercial. Could be a chance to ask for asylum. Or the third country would be complicit in this extradition
