Som sagt: det empiriske grunnlaget for forholdet mellom inflasjon og styringsrente er utrolig svakt, og er helt på tur når inflasjonen er importert. Det den gjør er å stagnere økonomien som gjør at folk som nå trenger mer for å dekke basale behov, nå trenger enda mer.

Hvis man holder renta høy så er man fucked i neste runde. Alle andre satte ned renta, de kan sette opp og fortsatt være under der de var på det verste. Sverige satte ned lenge før oss og fikk mye bedre kontroll på inflasjon.
