Definitely ‘the tone’ or such if the series has changed by the end. Less story, more battle and I agree, things are all tied up quickly and suddenly. I think the white walker stuff made somewhat less sense.
I think it made a lot of sense. I didn’t ‘like’ it exactly - and dear lord there are some long battle scenes in S8, but I thought it was ‘decent stoytelling’. What did I miss?
I just rewatched all of GoT. (I’ve been having a health issue, and needed to be a bit less busy, haha.) I understand all of the criticisms about gratuitous violence, racism, and it becoming ‘more of a Hollywood formula’ or such. But. I don’t mind the way ‘the character’ developed at the end.
Also. Weird book club choice.
Amazing. Yeah. There are a bunch of of women aged 45-50 who are Thorn Birds Meghann. I’m the only one with the last name, that I’m aware of, haha. I used to annoy my mum by saying I was going to … (I won’t spoil it - I can’t remember where it happens in the story haha.)
The fact that Meghann Cleary married the O’Neill guy was actually a coincidence that my mum read after my birth …
Thankyou for my best ever game credit. And yes, I am a Thorn Birds Meghann. (My mum was reading it when pregnant. That’s very astute of you.)
(Btw. Love the art in the game.)
My best game credit: severed hand model.
Oh.
@continuemag.bsky.social Keep up the good work, you lot.
Oh no.
When you had to cancel your GDC talk but it reads like you cancelled every indie funding opportunity instead. Lollll fuck
😬😬😬😬😬😅😅😂😂
That’s amazing.
Want to come down. Few logistics to sort, but maybe …
Oh yeah …
I was just explaining to my son why he should apply for the job at the local butcher and got lost in a story about Jones in the Fast Lane. Remember that game?!
OMG. Love this game. It used to have a much less goofy name though. Silence of the Siren, I think.
Dear Brazen Head Lord. My 16yo and I watched S3E10 of Foundation. Sooo gruesome. Amazing episode though.
That is some solid bird concentration.
He’s a gold lab and not quite so fierce as Jon Snow’s direwolf. But he tries his best.
Also, if Ken is late home, he’ll come and sit next to my phone until Life 360 pings to say he’s leaving work.
My dog, Ghost, somehow loves it when we both sit in the garden and I imitate birds. He wags his tail and looks in the direction of the bird. This is definitely a post for @susanarendt.bsky.social and @zander.supertonic.au I think he also tries to get me to do it by looking in the direction of birds.
Haha amazing. When this person chuckles at the beginning of the video, I was chuckling in exactly the same way.
Or your sim just takes endless naps to the detriment of all of their needs, including energy.
You end up picking up the baby and putting it down because there’s not enough space for whatever you’re doing. Then moving to another room, picking up the baby and putting it down. Then twirling. Then picking up the bay and it gets stuck to your hand.
I’m definitely a micromanager but turning off autonomous behaviour only improves this kind of thing very slightly.
I thought I’d try a new Sims 4 ep but the game is just such a struggle. There are so many interesting things to try but the behaviour of sims is just not smart enough. I spend 90% of my time trying to stop sims trying to cook more and more meals with no bench space or such.
Melon is fine. But how does honeydew melon taste like midori?
Loooove the is game.
