Just in case anyone was under the impression I had my life under control, today I went to a Sunday walk-in GP to have a tick removed, but it was a freckle.

So many kinds of grass. And the ideas system. I legit lose days to Clanfolk. But. You do kind of reach an endpoint. Rimworld is more of a sandbox these days.

Btw. Have you both played Clanfolk? Looooove that game.

Anomaly was the only one I didn’t get into. Too much kicking over my perfect sandcastle I think.

Ah yes. I don’t know how many hours I have, which is disappointing because I am a counter of things.

Although. I can relate to that starting over feeling. That’s largely Civ for me.

I do actually enjoy raids early. But. The last game I played on a harder mode got silly. It was like Bloons TD. There would be man hunter packs of hundreds. With Odyssey, I’m enjoying that some of the missions are dangerous, while my base is extremely peaceful.

It is a comfort game. I used to play on hard difficulties, now I play on the most peaceful and just build forever. Have you got Odyssey? I am scavenging a satellite and I made a little colony on an asteroid and both are sooo relaxing.

Maybe I meant beta … I can’t recall.

I’ve been playing RimWorld since like the alpha, and I’m playing Odyssey. And I reckon maybe there’s a Glitterworld expansion coming. Surely.

Ok. I’m playing Anno Pax Romana and I am now starting to get larger cities. I have not figured out out how to keep an eye on whether supply is meeting demand. What’s the best way to do that?

My highlight of the day at the moment is eavesdropping on the postman talking to my dog in the garden as I work at my desk. He calls him “little one” and gives him little bits of advice like “go and get some water”. I feel @susanarendt.bsky.social would like this post …
