These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

I would caution people to stop relying on the Constitution as written to have any meaning other than what the people Trump put on the Supreme Court says it means.

"He can't do that" is not a useful response to the things he's going to do. The correct response is "Will the Court uphold that?"

I have a disabled mother in rehab right now and I'm can't help but worry what's going to happen.

no matter the outcome of this election: organize, build local community, build strength in masses. elections aren't the only time politics happen, it also happens on the streets, in the community and by mutually supporting each other.

Please know that people love you and are fighting for you, even if you don't know their names or faces. There are people fighting for you.

Gentle reminder that most disabled people can NOT leave the United States. Countries don’t want to take in disabled, chronically ill and “high cost health users”. There are serious financial barriers to moving - leaving most people behind.

Spare a thought for all of us tonight - people are scared

You are allowed to be angry and disappointed. Remember though, the world isn’t going to end because of the results. It might suck for a while. But keep living. This shit ain’t over.
