While there, we saw that Raising Canes were selling Pink Plush Puppies for Breast Cancer Awareness.

I didn't see where there was a choice. I could not see the letters on an eye chart with my right eye. Any vision that I had in the center of my vision was scrambled, like looking through a windshield in the rain with no wipers on. The left eye will be in the same state soon enough.

And, just the right one at the moment.

While I've known that I've had cataracts, optometrists kept telling me that they weren't "ripe". It was only when I could no longer see an eye chart with my right eye that the doctors thought I was ready.

I had cataract surgery on my right eye a week ago. It was pretty much a non-event.

I haven't been driving, and I've tried to stay off the electronics. My vision is a bit blurry with my glasses on or off. Some of that will resolve in the next three weeks, but I will need a new pair of glasses.

I got a Friend Request from him on FB a few weeks back.
I was stunned to learn that he had been killed.
