If you’re wondering, the number pattern goes 1 (Herm), 2 (Toothpaste), and 3 (Lynn).
It’s not super apparent but their number is also a recurring pattern in their designs (dashes on eye masks, notches in their fins, the amount of certain patterns, etc)
Did you know that Toothpaste usually always holding up 2 fingers is intentional?
It’s bc she’s part of a trio of characters where she represents the second one of them. It’s also why the 2 is a repeating pattern in her design.
