i said it on twitter but everyone dunking on nancy mace and calling her a hypocrite for making pride posts a few years ago is missing the point of what she is doing. and her actions of being publicly transphobic but ok with gays is just standard quo for many if not most cis "allies"

i play in an lgbt+ specific rec sports league with over 400 people. there are like 7 trans women total, of which i'm one. a whole team of us would be a stretch let alone a league of our own

two months ago i read a single hockey romance book because there was a trans woman main character, and even tho its been a whole two months since i read and reviewed the book amazon is still regularly sending me other hockey romances to read and big no thanks
