The nice part is you don't have to wash the sheets when you wet the bed

Sometimes a slightly worn box is nice. It has a little more character and you don't have to be as precious with it

Dragon Quest, Ultima, and Parodius!

A tri-force of adventure for this issue of MSX FAN from 1988, whose covers remain some of my favourites.

Psst! You'll also receive information on some of Hydlide 3's secrets too. *whisper*

I found this cool photo of Dragon Quest 1's development team, taken back in Autumn 1985. I don't recognize everyone in the picture but you can see Yuji Horii and Akira Toriyama standing next to each other in the center. And the second person on the right is the game's director, Koichi Nakamura.

The meme is the single guy standing in the corner of a party meme

The couples are saying things like "I bet it took ages to reduce" and "while this sauce is so rich and velvety"

Brian, standing alone in the corner, says "they don't know I used a cornstarch slurry"

SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.
