The October 1964 General Election.

“Steptoe and Son” moved from its regular slot of 8pm to 9pm, for one week.

Labour Leader Harold Wilson had requested the schedule change so did not clash with polling! 😆

GE polling hours were not extended to 10pm until 1970.

Steptoe & Son - Back in Fashion (4th August 1974). Harold attempts to charm a number of models - led by Carol (Madeline Smith). Unfortunately for Harold, Carol draws the wrong conclusion from his dark glasses ...
