Perhaps US decided to tax the entire world?
07.11.2025 20:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I got another one I know has been used successfully(??) in the past. Take candidate to lunch. If they eat the lunch quickly => hire. If they eat slowly and likes to chat => reject.
07.11.2025 11:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Too hard. Just look at the candidates posture. Lean-forward => hire, lean-backwards => reject (I have talked to people claiming this is a good signal).
07.11.2025 10:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Immediate like IMGUI? That programming model should get more love.
04.11.2025 08:09 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A hand holding two stickers. One is a hand drawn image of two dachshunds in a blue minibus. Above the bus is the text "Kodsnack", below it "Γredev 2025". The other sticker is of a smiling green goblin sitting in a bucket full of grey goo. Below it is the text "Fight the slop goblin".
TOMORROW @oredev.org starts! We are excited to be there again, interviewing speakers both on and off stage.
We will also be bringing some very nice stickers.
One to commemorate this year's edition of the conference.
One to make a small statement about generative slop wherever it appears.
A console fragment shader is probably something like the character state/token in and the coordinate of it and then the new character state/token out.
01.11.2025 19:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have used similar techniques to fragment shaders when doing console effects. As there are a lot less pixels on the screen the CPU is probably enough. A fragment shader effect is basically cell coordinate in, color out and then some global state passed in.
01.11.2025 10:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I normalize thrice sometimes!
31.10.2025 15:14 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My joke fell flat.
30.10.2025 15:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0What about the sixel performance?
30.10.2025 14:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Nah make it go higher!
30.10.2025 14:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Coming up! Don't miss it!
29.10.2025 17:09 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I am hoping for a "classic" trend to come. Windows Classic - Without AI. Visual Studio Code Classic - Without copilot and so on
29.10.2025 16:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0nightmare fuel....
29.10.2025 10:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0When they describe future dev like micromanaging 10 agents doing different tasks it just sounds like nightmare to me. And I already getting annoyed with devs talking to themselves to solve problem (this is a me problem I realize) so if everybody is sitting talking I would go nuts.
29.10.2025 10:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This time I managed to join the twitch chat in time.

Yes, almost all my shaders (including this one) is licensed under CC0. I appreciate you asking but CC0 allows you to do whatever you want :)
16.10.2025 17:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The benefit of fatjars is that you can ship a library with all dependencies embedded into your "jar" and not visible on the outside. This is what I believe Patrik looked for in .NET.
16.10.2025 06:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I will next time.
15.10.2025 13:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0ILMerge saved me a few times but seems unsupported. In JVM world the idea of "fatjars" is common and I wish it catch on in .net
15.10.2025 13:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Tried to join but twitch says no. I tried reload but didn't work.
