Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:

* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

Did you know that over 1.3M active duty service members and veterans rely on SNAP benefits to feed themselves and their families?

Now you know.

Also, if you're thinking of buying candy for trick-or-treaters, please consider things like ramen, canned foods, dry pasta, and other non-perishable foods.

I've seen various versions of this circulating but it bears repeating.

If, this November, you see someone stealing necessities of any kind - no you didn't.

I feel that! I'm almost never on Instagram. Facebook for me is hit or miss - I might post a few times in a day and then ignore it for a week or more. I don't do TikTok or Threads or... anything else, really, unless you count Discord. And I'm sporadic at best on here.

This is pure cult behavior, and it's terrifying. It's bad enough innocent people are being targeted by ICE, the National Guard, etc., without having a large portion of the general population now consists of automatons who are ready and willing to do whatever Trump wants them to do.
