Jay is cosplaying Maverick from Top Gun. He's wearing a black face mask along with the cosplay. The flight suit is partially unzipped to partially reveal a dog tag chain (unseen but are modeled after Pete Mitchell's dog tags from the movie) and a Top Gun logo t-shirt. Folded aviator glasses hang off the zipper of the flight suit at chest level.

So I had to run out to the store right? I'm cosplaying Maverick from Top Gun for Halloween (again)

the #franken141au (new tag to keep track of stuff! 💜) is getting me to finally write comprehensive reference for my lorebuilding of biomagical research/fantasy science 💪 I'm no scientist but I like to think I'm good at pretending 😂 as long as it's Convincing. Accuracy who? Fiction is my playground 🥰

It's easy to make fun of someone like "how do you not know how to use this thing I went my entire life knowing about??" but times and technology shift so rapidly now that obsolescence of certain things takes a year atp instead of like 5-10 years.

It's never too late to learn something new (or old)!

Streaming and digital media has been the dominant media viewing form for their entire life. Right? It's not the kid's fault for not knowing what a DVD is, especially if their adults can't afford physical media collection AND many computers don't even come with disc readers by default anymore! 🥲 ➡️

Observations I've made as a library worker:

I had to teach a child at my library what a DVD was, as well as how to take the disc out of the case to put it in the library computer (& use VLC to watch it). It FLOORED me for a moment but then I thought about it. This kid was like ~9 years old. ➡️

So far I've plotted:
- Price/Ghost/Soap established threesome, heavy leaning into Unhealthy Fixation Territory 😈
- Soap/Ghost/König threesome that results in an Eggy Surprise for Ghost 🥰
- Unhinged Ghost bloodlust that can only be calmed with sex 🔥
- Underground "gala" ft. medical voyeurism/orgy 🤤

Sat down and wrote out a basic plotline for the franken141 au and it turned out to be ~1.6k words 😳 this one's probably gonna be a longfic too but it'll be gooooood

Plus with octomer!König involved too that means I can have even MORE fun with my favorites hehe (ovi, mpreg, medical kink...) 🤤🤤

The best/worst thing about living in this time warp groundhog day fascist hellscape is that it's made me realize how important writing is to my health and my mind.

I've wholeheartedly thrown myself back into creating art/writing as an outlet because ALL THIS ANGST HAS GOTTA GO SOMEWHERE ✨

Price repurposed the castle dungeon into a laboratory, and had it ready as a second facility in case he ever had to flee his office in town. (Backup plans are always important.)

After withdrawing from public society, Price turns his whole focus solely on biomagical research... and Ghost's creation.

The castle serves as Price's stronghold after the incident that ruined his reputation as a doctor sent him into hiding.

Soap doesn't interact with König often, but will give him food from time to time, so König knows he's not an enemy. In a way they're both Price's captives. Experiments.➡️

To give König room to grow unhindered, Price purchased an old castle with a moat large enough for a full-grown octomer to have plenty of space while still remaining captive.

In exchange for Price saving and raising him, König guards the castle from Unwanted Guests (and gets a nice meal out of it).➡️

If any creatures were beyond saving, well, they'd still be useful dissection models, and Price enjoys his work. 😇

König was an octomer caught in a fishing net as a fry. He was small, young, weak; very sick from the poor conditions he was kept in. Price decided he might be useful, so he saved him.➡️

Price & mer!König: as a man with a deep interest in occult science, Price used his medical knowledge to keep himself afloat working with underground auctions of live magical specimens. If they were sick or injured, Price would heal them.➡️

Yeess exactly! I have five billion ideas any given day haha... but they're all in my head and not actually written until I can sit down and do it 😂 I've got well over a decade of lorebuilding floating around in my head like a giant encyclopedia that constantly adds new pages lol

Heeeyyy!! now I can finally tag The Bullet Hole Fic as "wound fucking" now that it's AO3 official LOL there's some good stuff in here btw 👀 (mainly looking at "dark romance" and "the mortifying ordeal of being known" bc that works very nicely into the frankenstein AU I'm working on 🥰😈😇)

Tomorrow and Friday I'm gonna try to focus on working on the frankenstein priceghostsoap AU because it'll be maximum spooky vibes 😈💜

Price has Soap source "parts" for his new project that he works on in secret while Johnny becomes his "public face" if he needs anything done that requires travel.

When Ghost is "born" Johnny immediately falls in love with him... but the problem is, Price is just as infatuated with his creation 😈

Soap was the one that set the fire, after being ordered to by Price; Soap was also the one who ""acquired"" MacMillan's replacement leg. Johnny is loyal to Price after he suffered traumatic injury and memory loss (during the same war that took MacMillan's leg).

When Ghost enters the picture...➡️

The resulting investigation was on the brink of publicly revealing Price's horrifying ""research"" into occult practices and biomagical chemistry-- rather than being caught, Price burned down his office to destroy the evidence. He fled to his isolated castle fortress shortly after and disappeared.➡️

Price lost his medical license when a wounded soldier (MacMillan) arrived because the injury to his leg required complex surgical help. Price "saved" him by replacing the leg with an entirely "new" one (😉) but his patient died from complications shortly after.➡️
