2025 UAP Records in Review A trickle of UAP records, roadblocks, and a mysterious UAP job posting.

In my email to NASA about the UAP record transfers, they confirmed that they do have UAP records owned by the DOD. hm05uap.substack.com/i/182921977/...

Trump Says He Will Release Files on Aliens and U.F.O.s

The govt has been trying (in spurts) to declassify UAP info for years.

The biggest hurdles are that agencies refuse to comply with automatic declassification requirements and the National Archives can't declassify other agencies' records.

If you want real declass, give NARA that authority.

HM05UAP | Substack Researching the UAP record transfers to the National Archives. Click to read HM05UAP, a Substack publication. Launched a year ago.

I’ve been tracking the UAP record transfers for a while now. It’s clear that NARA is a potential treasure trove of UAP records, but a lot is withheld as classified and controlled unclassified information. hm05uap.substack.com

NARA has until roughly the end of March to upload the publicly releasable records. Those have been a slow drip this year, with more added just yesterday. The problem lies in the withheld records. There is no visibility on how many records withheld and from what agencies.

Adding to this, NARA should have received UAP records from federal agencies last year in response to the 2024 NDAA. This includes records for public release and records to be withheld from release. Giving NARA the authority to declassify and release the withheld records would be an easy start.

Any timing with recent presidential statements is likely coincidence. The release of these records are the result of the 2024 NDAA that established a record review and transfer of UAP records to the National Archives. Just over a month remains to release records received by federal agencies.

Some Department of State UAP records appear ready to release. 8 records can be found on the National Archives server, suggesting they’ll soon be added to their online catalog. hm05uap.substack.com/p/department...

The National Archives is ending their History Hub, which served as a forum for research questions and support. They also seemed to have ended their Ask The Archives chat. Resources at NARA appear to be dwindling and communication with them becoming more difficult. historyhub.history.gov
