Performed outdoors in some of the Okanagan’s most stunning locations, this show is a riot! Unlike any other Shakespeare you've seen. . . www.tempest.ca/on-stage.html

Mars by the end of next year. . . Ya, right. . . www.thedailybeast.com/elon-musks-s...
Um. . . There’s a lot to criticize about the AI bandwagon.
But songwriters haven't been relevant in decades.
Market-driven art, after all, is slick but soulless. AI just holds a mirror to that.

I feel like it's worth restating some basics. What matters most as we navigate this moment? How about truth, nuance, humility, compassion, resilience, and care (for starters)? Who in politics reflects these?

Anyone else getting the feeling that foundations are cracking? This is not at all a normal political cycle and Canada's upcoming elections are about much more than wanting a 'team' to win. This, if ever, is the time to be strategic. . . My fingers are crossed.
Travel warning to anyone 'trying to' visit the United States: this is some 1970s Nicaragua-style stuff. Looks like the US of A is officially on the way to banana republic. . .

I think many people risk misreading this political moment. It’s not about parties or name-calling. It’s actually about education—about complexity vs. simplicity, awareness vs. fear. And reactionary fear only leads to one place, and it's pretty dark. Just saying.
Cybertruck: because nothing says "cutting edge" like a shoddy $100K stainless steel brick that can actually cut your finger off. I don’t like seeing anyone get scammed. But I’ll admit, it’s satisfying to see the truth about this junk finally break through the hype fog.
Beautiful, as usual! Tough to absorb that mushrooms (and fungi) are closer to animals than plants. . .
Those endorsements should tell you all you need to know. I really hope that Canadians are not as easy to hoodwink as those on the American right.
I do not belong to any political party. In past, I have voted for different parties, depending on key issues. I also know that talk is cheap - but this talk at least is very good.

This guy is such an idiot. Like clockwork, the orange liar sets him up and he takes the cue immediately, hoping that nobody will notice (are they coordinating?). Who calls themselves a 'tough guy' anyway?

This is wonderful! It's easy to forget that we are all a deep mixture of genes and history. It's messy and kind of glorious!
This is so wrong on so many levels. . .
He is lying, as usual, trying to tarnish the liberals and boost the conservatives. There is no way he actually prefers Carney to Poilievre . . .
Whaaaaa? You mean cars that are priced well with cutting edge features that actually work sell more than ones that. . . uh. . . don't? Who'd a thunk!
France has great food! It's also on the right side of history (at least for now).
Once again, Italy on the wrong side of things. . . Why? Why? You'd think countries with such good food would be more sensible!
Um, grooming. . . anyone?
As we're seeing (and has been known for some time), those who lust for power should never have it. . .
This is pretty great. One measure of stupidity is the propensity to cruelty. . .

MRNA vaccines are one of the most important technologies discovered by humans. Don't let the crazies tell you otherwise!
Some great points here about why modern movies don't look as good as older ones. Biggest reason: lack of commitment (and photographic skill to support it)!!

Sounds like you already have!
Crows are pretty damn smart. When they like you it says something. . .
I'm not sure folks really grasp the extent to which they. don't. care. Looks like their general attitude is 'the faster the poor die the better.' Very Christian of them. . .
A great perspective! We can all learn from this!
I cannot handle the stupidity. Like, I don't know what to do with it. Is there a big pile of wet mud somewhere I can stick my head into and make it go away?
Sure, some folks will always be a bit brighter than others, no problem. But I don't think I've ever seen such catastrophic stupidity blend so seamlessly with stratospheric arrogance. . . Not a great combo. #canadastrong
