I hadn’t hiked up the mountain from lake level since the early 1970s, in my teens! Doing that Monday at 69 was a challenge, but very gratifying!!

The historic 1929 lookout is getting a bit of love. The outside has a new coat of paint and the cedar shingles a 30-something in our hiking party shlepped up the mountain will go to restoring the roof. The inside has the names and dates of many people who have made the climb over the decades. 9/1/25
