Exploitation is packaging. REEVALUATE turns enablers into a 3-step adoption ladder:
1) Starter—prioritise+contextualise a thematic slice,
2) Governance-ready—validation, permissions & traceability,
3) Marketplace—public discovery + professional reuse with reuse tracking & compliance export.
Cultural heritage is also about whose stories remain visible. This #InternationalWomensDay REEVALUATE highlights heritage digitization and reuse that keep women’s histories accessible and meaningful. This garment from MoMu Antwerp (ST2202) is one example. #DigitalHeritage #WomenInCulture #REEVALUATE
REEVALUATE models CH reuse as a 2-sided pathway: CHIs publish governed, reuse-ready packages (context + permissions + provenance/traceability) via a dual path (public discovery + governed pro access). SMEs adopt because it cuts clearance effort, reduces risk & enables compliance evidence export.
REEVALUATE maps scalable cultural heritage reuse across 4 layers: L1 CHIs steward assets → L2 digitization + metadata/context makes content reusable → L3 governance & trust (rights clarity, provenance/traceability, validation) removes “last-mile” friction → L4 reuse in games, film/VFX, XR, EdTech.
Live from the REEVALUATE plenary 👋 Today we deep-dive into our pilots: fashion, Olympic & music heritage, and Aquileia. Testing how our tools behave in real cultural heritage contexts – and what still needs to be fixed.

Connecting rights management directly to discovery, reuse, and validation tools, we’re building a platform offering customisable CH reuse workflows, where creators, institutions, and innovators can collaborate #confidently and #responsibly.
This enabler forms the legal and ethical backbone of our platform and will be fully integrated with other REEVALUATE components, such as the #Marketplace, the #Contextualisation Enabler, and the #CreativeReuse workflows.
📌 Key features include:
- Asset tokenisation for unique digital identity
- Smart contract-based IPR rules
- Traceable and secure reuse agreements
In this #TechTuesday we present how REEVALUATE tackles these questions with our #DLT-based Asset Tokenisation & #IPR Management Enabler, an #innovation that ensures #transparent and #secure #rights handling for the #reuse of cultural content.
🔐 Who owns digitised heritage? And how can we manage it fairly in the digital age?
A big thank you to the organisers and attendees of #ISWS2025 for creating such a vibrant and inspiring environment and congratulations again to Ruben!
His work contributes to REEVALUATE’s mission to enhance #culturalheritage #digitisation and #reuse through #AI, #semantic technologies, and inclusive #innovation.
Not only did Ruben enjoy a week full of #learning, #collaboration, and #communitybuilding, but he was also awarded Best Minute Madness Presentation for his talk on his PhD research within #REEVALUATE!
We’re proud to share that Ruben Peeters, one of the researchers of #KULeuven contributing to the #REEVALUATE project, just returned from the International Semantic Web Summer School (#ISWS2025), a renowned gathering for advancing #AI and #KnowledgeGraphs.
Whether you're a creative industry professional, an artist, or a digital curator, this enabler helps you #discover cultural assets that are relevant, inspiring, and reusable.

🔍 What it does:
-Offers multi-modal information hashtag#retrieval — search by #text and #image
-Uses #knowledgegraphs and #ontologies to understand and connect #metadata
-Provides #matchmaking functionalities based on user profiles and artefact #features using graph embeddings
D3.1 presents the initial design and development of the #CollaborationEnabler, which empowers users to intelligently search and match cultural assets.
🤝 Connecting Culture and Creativity with Smart Collaboration Tools
In #REEVALUATE, we are building intelligent tools to support the #discovery and #reuse of digitised cultural heritage and the Collaboration Enabler is a central piece of that puzzle.
The result? A practical, high-impact tool that unlocks creative potential across fashion, heritage, and other industries.

Our team built a custom annotation pipeline and developed a domain-adapted dataset to fine-tune models, while also designing a smart architecture that balances high-performance generation with real-world usability in the REEVALUATE platform.
With just a reference image and a prompt, users can create stylistic and meaningful variations of existing artefacts, enabling new forms of cultural #storytelling, fashion #design, and #creativereuse.
This enabler powers both the Fashion Time Machine #pilot and the #Marketplace platform, using advanced Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models (like Stable Diffusion 3 and Kandinsky 2.2) to generate high-quality, domain-specific #images.
How can #AI help breathe new life into digitised cultural heritage assets?
Through the AI-Driven Creative Reuse Enabler, #REEVALUATE is pushing the boundaries of generative hashtag#AI in the #cultural and hashtag#fashion domains.

Together, these features make the #ContextualisationEnabler a powerful bridge between technology and human interpretation, enabling more #accessible, #accurate, and #reusable cultural heritage data.
✅ Semantic enrichment of #visual and #textual artefacts using advanced #AI models
✅ Reinforcement learning with #humanfeedback (RLHF) to let expert curators fine-tune AI annotations
✅ Public-driven #campaigns to crowdsource additional perspectives, ensuring inclusivity and diversity
This enabler is designed to enrich digital cultural heritage #assets with deep, meaningful #contextual #metadata.
Only a few months ago, deliverable D2.3 was delivered, which outlines the first release of the Contextualisation Enabler, a key technological component of the #REEVALUATE #platform.
