Students at #UGALaw recently had a chance to take part in a clinic town hall where they learned about the more than 15 clinics and externships offered by the School of Law. During 2024-25, students engaged in nearly 82,000 service-learning hours.

The Public Interest Law Council at #UGALaw hosted an ice cream social last Friday to cap off Public Interest Week, giving students a chance to unwind with a sweet treat on a warm afternoon.

For the 12th consecutive year, #UGALaw grads have led the state in the Georgia bar exam passage rate for the July sitting. They posted the highest rate for first-time takers among the state’s law schools & exceeded the overall passage rate by more than 6%. law.uga.edu/news/79658

Earlier this week, #UGALaw hosted a bipartisan panel of attorneys with different roles in the Georgia General Assembly. Joe Lenoff and alums Sam West (J.D.’22) and Hayley Williams (J.D.’20) spoke to students about their careers and journeys to working in the state legislature.

More than 55 Law Dawgs played in Friday’s Arch Madness Flag Football Tournament, hosted by the Sports and Entertainment Law Society at #UGALaw. Friday’s tournament took place on Herty Field, the site of UGA’s first football game in 1892, with the Green Team reigning victorious.
