I went through all my emails…nothing. Tracked back through all my missed calls…nothing. They then told me that I had essentially missed the boat and if I wanted to I could apply again. It’s no wonder there’s a shortage. Oh, it’s a motoring topic but you probably worked that out already.
I applied for the role of examiner several months ago. Got through the first two stages and attended a webinar information session about the role. I waited and waited to hear when my driving assessment would be. In the end I contacted them to be told that they had tried to call me and emailed me.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social here a topic for a phone in James (maybe). A government report suggests that the DVSA will not meet its targets for waiting times for driving tests to be reduced to 7 weeks until the end of 2027 and that after 19 recruitment drives they have only recruited 83 new examiners.

What’s happening with the verdict from the inquiry into man city’s 115 charges? Is the premier league just hoping we will forget about them?
So the French FA immediately relegate Lyon because of financial misconduct but the premier league in England kick 115 charges against Man City into the long grass again and they carry on spending. Still waiting for the verdict and penalty months after the inquiry finished. Joke.
