Blundering Albatross

A Canon 5D mark III with 40mm f2.8 STM sits next to my book, What Remains.

It's finally done. It's real. It's a physical thing. It's in the flesh (or paper, I guess.)

My book, What Remains, is complete.

Did some more folds & shading practice, had a bit of fun with it and made sort of a sequel to this one. Yeah the pistol is in an odd place, yeah I got lazy with the background.

Having fun & learning tho, and that’s the main thing!

Had some impetus to do my pirate Crusader today and so finally got my pirate lance finished after like a year! Really happy with how mean they look lol

Five models of Imperial Storm Troopers from the Star Wars Legion miniatures range. They are wearing white armour with black accents and are carrying black blaster carbines. Their bases look like rocky, grassy fields, and they are photographed on a white background.

Painted up some #StarWars Legion stormtroopers in time for my Saga Edition game last night and it turns out I suck at painting white lol. Look fine on the table though and it’s amazing how much basing can tie a model together, even if the paint job is butts xD

Just GM’d my #StarWars Saga Edition game for the first time in nearly 4 years and after the usual “What we doin?” the party got well into it and had loads of fun flattening Storm Troopers. Made me happy to be in the big chair again making other people happy ^^

Lamellar armour is a pain to draw lmao.

Hroar and Ottar, Hearthkarls (warrior priests, golden eyes showing souls bound to Lunn) sworn guardians to Valdis, in post-battle levity. Clad in expensive lamellar inlaid with magic-dampening electrum, Hearthkarls of all denominations were used as heavy infantry during the Schism.
