Live Nation made $145 BILLION last year.

They paid $0 in federal income taxes.

They used Ticketmaster to sell fans nosebleed seats at $1,000 a pop, and they are paying zero federal income taxes.

If that doesn't make you want to tax the rich, I don't know what will.

Guess what?

Eggs, beef, coffee—those price increases shouldn't hit us this hard.

It's because we already can't afford a mortgage, childcare, healthcare, student loans, and credit card bills.

The billionaires are hoarding all of the money in our economy.

Tax the rich.

Remember - if you're financially in a position to do so, skip the #BlackFriday deals online from big companies and shop instead from small and local businesses.
The big guns don't need your money, but for small traders it can be what keeps them going into 2026, so support your community instead.

No contract, no coffee.

We don’t believe in sitting on the sidelines. Join our Transition co-chair @linamkhan.bsky.social , First Deputy Mayor Dean Fuleihan & @sbworkersunited.org at the picket lines.

A photo of Katie Wilson smiling into the camera at a Starbucks workers' unfair Labor practice strike rally. A black and white photo from the crowd at the Starbucks workers strike rally of Katie Wilson speaking into a microphone among raised strike signs A crowd photo from the Starbucks workers strike rally of Katie Wilson speaking among the crowd on a gray Seattle day A photo of Katie Wilson standing on a small stage before a crowd speaking at the Starbucks workers rally

Across the country, Starbucks workers are on an Unfair Labor Practice strike for a fair first contract, and I know which side I’m on. Baristas make Starbucks an extraordinarily wealthy company. They are entitled to their fair share of that wealth and to benefits and fair treatment on the job.

Like is this a skill issue? Does no one look up the place they want to go and see if it’s for them? Every shop I go to I usually enjoy, or even if I am disappointed I’ve never had a rude or snobby barista. And at the very least they have never been significantly more expensive than Starbucks

I always see TikTok skits that are like “POV: you go to a local coffee shop” and the barista is super rude/snobby, say the prices are outrageous, and all the comments are like “YES!” And add how it tastes terrible, but I’ve genuinely never had that experience? Feels like Starbucks propaganda

Reminder to everyone donating to food banks in light of the Republicans starving SNAP: It is far more cost effective to donate directly to food banks than to buy food and give it to them. They can buy in bulk and have existing relationships with sellers, so your few bucks go way further that way

i think the bakery should offer a flight option on the menu. just a few sample size baked treats for like twenty bucks you know. sometimes i get so anxious knowing i only get one shot at this treat and might choose badly

The cybertruck is a massive men's rights win. Finally a car that she won't take in the divorce.

Food trucks should actually just be like smaller portions of dishes for like $5-$8. I’m talking like sliders, little salmon on rice. They are usually next to other food trucks and then I could try multiple instead of spending like $20 on one

Am I the only one who just cannot listen to podcasts or audiobooks at home? I try, but like I can really only do it in the car.

3. Another thing I miss about Spotify was it has an app on almost any device and being able to control that from my phone. Obviously you can still use Bluetooth/AirPlay.
4. Most artists are fine, but a few smaller ones can be mixed with other artists of the same name, or can be missing releases

2. The suggest new music/algorithm could be better. Spotify would usually suggest new artists that I ended up liking, and that hasn’t really happened on tidal. I don’t really rely on it for discovering new artists. This could also simply be because of a lack of people using it compared to Spotify

Anyone who’s considering Tidal, here’s my experience over the last 2ish years of switching over to it:
1. Using the app itself has been pleasant. The layout is familiar and not confusing. I appreciate having artists I listen to frequently on the Home Screen, albums I’ve played recently…

Being a coffee nerd in this economy is not for the weak. I have to limit myself to just one ~8oz cup a day or else I’d have to buy bags way more often
