And plants that are monoecious and so have separate male and female flowers on the same plant. That's why I pointed out what plant species I think she is. Plants don't really "grow into" a biological sex, not like. A crocodile or smthn lol
I went into a plant biology rabbit hole when I was thinking about this, plant sexes work in three ways: plants that have separate genders, with each individual plant being either male or female; plants that are dioecious and so have both male and female organs (stamin & pistil) in each flower;

Now that trans hunter is practically canon I can share my theory about Huntress Wizard being a plant person, SPECIFICALLY probably a kousa dogwood, and thus is monoecious (she was assigned plant at birth and that still makes her trans)
