80s Music Video of the day. From 1983, this girl power video, directed by Bob Giraldi sees Benatar as a teen runaway who empowers a bunch of women to leave the club they work/get abused at. The song won Benatar her 4th Grammy in a row for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

Music Video of the day. Director Stanley Donan used the rotating room effect that he implemented in the movie Royal Wedding. Donan stated that Richie took to the effect better than his previous leading man, Fred Astaire. Maybe because he didn't have a movie for reference.

Absolutely, I saw it when I was a teenager and loved it ever since. It's a beautiful looking movie, it's a shame it flopped and Charles Laughton didn't direct again. He took that shit personally.
