This first view was taken roughly north west from the northern side of the common. Within this landscape is a main railway line and the A34 dual carriageway heading north.
This is a misty view roughly south showing the town beyond the edge of the common. Of note are the two churches with a third in the distance.
Stone Common Plot: Recently, I took some telephoto views to show in more detail some of the landscape from this small reserve.

This photo uses the technique of βfocus stackingβ with 5 photos to create an image using the convex mirror with the houseplants in the background being sharp. This is with a black background
Similar to the previous image (but without the black background) this one has a tighter crop. It also shows my hands holding the camera on the edge - a hazard when using a convex mirror
