Not really biggest fan of this platform and I spend too much time in social media as it is!

Unfortunately this platform has a character limit, so I can’t post them here.

Adin Hill is the second best goalie in the West.

Buffalo still stinks and it's hard to not feel for their fans. Even if Montreal doesn't make the playoffs, fans can see the light at the end of the tunnel. In Buffalo, it's been all darkness for a long time. New management, new coaches and it's always the same result.

Alex Newhook has quietly been Montreal's most consistent player since December. He's often the most important player on his line. He's probably destined for a third line role when Montreal is ready to compete but with the way they want to build the roster, he'll be a menace in that role.

Lane Hutson... He's not just Montreal's best defenseman, he's becoming the team's best player. The best example of his brilliance was on Montreal's first goal of the game where he wasn't even awarded a point. Just incredible and fun to think about how good he will be in his mid twenties.

Concordia off to the OUA Semifinals!!

3- Struble found his game and looks like the player we saw when he first came up. Playing with Lane Hutson helps but he's now playing with simplicity and confidence. Struble is in full audition mode as Montreal has to make decisions on how they want to construct their blue line, on the left side.

2- Protect Josh Anderson from Josh Anderson. It's been well over a month that Anderson has been playing with some type of injury. He rarely practices and limps back to the bench in pain once a per game. Maybe a couple nights off can do him so good?

Three Takeaways from tonight's Habs game:
1- Hutson and Celebrini are both awesome rookies. I know it can't happen because of the voting system but why not have them share the award if it's that close? We've seen co-mvps in other leagues. If they are at par, why choose?

Campbell vs Gallo!

Hot Topic:

Who should be the NHL's rookie of the year?

Macklin Celebrini or Lane Hutson?

And

Why!?

3- Rantanen doesn't look like he fits in Carolina. He appears to want to play a different style and when the score got to 3-0 in favour of the Canadiens, his play and effort was poo. He may be traded again not because the Hurricanes win the deal but because their cutting their losses.

2- Cole Caufield is the fastest Montreal Canadien to 200-points in 30-years. His best attribute is his ability to score, he's an underrated passer and playmaker. Looking at his overall game, Martin St Louis likely deserves a lot of credit for rounding out his game.

1- Juraj Slafkovsky has scored in two straight games and was able to have a physical impact once again. What's most encouraging is the goal came with him standing right in front of the net where most goals are scored.
